pregnancy hunger: is it real or am I just a foodie on the loose?

from a serial foodie girlie, I have to question whether my pregnancy hunger has simply unleashed my foodie self to a brand new level. However, my search comes to teach me that hunger pangs might just be an early pregnancy symptom. The question still remains though, pregnancy hunger: is it real?
